Is a Healthcare Statistician from the department of Health Analytics in Carilion Clinic. Tonja has a PhD in Mathematics Education with over 20 years of experience in teaching mathematics from middle school to college students and spanning courses from Algebra to Calculus and Statistics.

Erik T. Smales

Is a Psychologist with extensive experience in Physiology Research and Sleep Disorders. Erik works at the Carilion Clinic Sleep Center and is a sleep specialist consultant in Neuroscience, breathing disorders and Cardiovascular Research Laboratories across the USA.

Silvia Natalia Jaimes-Ocazionez, M.D.

Is a Pediatrician, Clinical Epidemiologist, and Assistant professor of Pediatrics in VTCSOM.
